If you were born between 1946 and 1964 you are officially of the baby boomer generation.

You are healthier and wealthier than previous generations and can look forward to an active old-age that was denied previous generations.

Whether in the US or the UK if you were listening to the Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones or Motown sound on your transistor radio or headed to Woodstock you are a baby boomer.

If you're a boomer born from 46 to 55 you will remember:

As "baby boomers" you may have developed a rebellious, anti-establishment attitude which has been carried on into older age - which is very different to previous society and late 20th century lack of interest in things like the civil rights movement, the feminist cause in the 1970s, gay rights, handicapped rights, and the right to privacy.
