Well, it's May and strawberries are in season - here are three great strawberry recipes to add to your ten cent crazy book

Strawberry - Sour Cream Cake
Preheat oven at 350 degrees
Mix
3 cups of Bisquick
1 cup of sour cream
two-thirds cup of sugar
half a cup of cold water
2 teaspoons of vanilla
2 eggs
Beat at med speed for 4 minutes
Place mixture in greased 13x9 inch pan
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes - until toothpick comes out clean
Topping
In large bowl stir together
1 and a half cups of sour cream
one-third of a cup of packed brown sugar
3 cups sliced strawberries
Put on top of warm cake and place in the refrigerator

Strawberry - Cream Cheese Biscuits
Preheat oven at 450 degrees
Mix
3 cups Bisquick
three-forth's cup of orange juice
shape dough into 10 balls
make well in the middle of each
Mix
two tablespoons of strawberry preserves
1 (3oz pkg) cream cheese, softened
Fill each well with 1 teaspoon of strawberry mixture
sprinkle with sugar
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes
Serve warm

Strawberry Shortcakes
Preheat oven at 425 degrees
Mix
4 cups of sliced strawberries
half a cup of sugar
set aside
In large bowl mix
2 and one-third cup of Bisquick
one-third of a cup of butter
three-forth's a cup of milk
3 eggs
half of a teaspoon of vanilla
drop 6 spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet
Bake 10 to 12 minutes - until golden brown
Cool 5 minutes and then split with knife
Fill with strawberry mixture and top with whipped cream
