Now you're probably thinking, yeah, right, where am I suppose to find these things. Well if you go to your internet search engine and type in:

State of (fill in your state name) calendar of events

Then click on the page put out by your states parks and tourism, you will probably come up to a page that allows you to put in dates. Example 2/1/10 to 2/28/10, and guess what? Everything going on in your state will come up in date order. It will tell you, when, where and the cost of the event. There are also maps on how to get there and phone numbers and email address' of the people in charge of the event. The best part is that many events are Free.
