As you flutter, push or run through the holiday season this year - try to remember - that the most important thing to have - is not a gift - the most important for you to express or give to other is:

Charm

If you can become an expert at being charming - everyone will remember you - everyone will love you and everyone will always invite you to visit again

To have charm - you must have:

a sense of humor
insight - to be able to understand others feelings and express compassion
passion - truly enjoy the moment no matter how small
effortless social grace - (grace is truth, love, joy and faith)
have and be a role model
accept compliments gracefully
be a good sport
notice nuance (someone has gone to a lot of trouble to make things look and feel wonderful - notice even small things)
bone up (if you know what others like - know something about it - if not - have some interesting thoughts or stories to tell others)
Have an interest in others (remember charm says - it's not all about you and yours)
and finally
Have curiosity (ask questions)
