Thinking Food-Wise (Post 49)

If you want to start your own ten cent crazy book - read post 1-4 to find out how

Ok, I don’t know if these are wise choices, wise cracks or old wives tales, maybe a little of all three, but here’s some food for thought to add to your ten cent crazy book

Anti – Aging Foods

Yogurt
Green Vegetables
Cranberry and Pomegranate Juice
Olive Oil
Sunflower Seeds
Oily Fish
Oranges
Lemons
Grapefruits
Salmon
Tofu
Garlic
Hot peppers
Carrots

Eating Sunflower Seeds or liver – even fried chicken livers is suppose to keep you from getting boils.
People use to get boils from not eating enough meat.

Eating Oatmeal is supposed to keep you from going senile.

Eating cayenne pepper is supposed to keep your arteries from getting blocked.
One village somewhere up in the mountains in a remote part of the world, report no heart problems and doctors attributed this to their use of cayenne pepper in almost all of their foods.
While cayenne pepper is hot to the taste, it does not cause stomach problems.

Hot Cocoa is said to cut your cancer risk.

Knox gelatin is said to cure arthritis. Knox gelatin can be found in small packets, in the jello section of just about any grocery store. Half a package mixed with your juice in the morning, is said to stop pain from arthritis in about six weeks. It supposedly builds the cartilage between the bones and keeps you from getting arthritis as well.

Foods that are supposed to help you live longer are:

Salsa
Chocolate
Maple syrup
Popcorn
Squash

A New Project (Post 47)

If you want to start your own ten cent crazy book - read post 1-4 to find out how

Ok, here's a good project idea to write down in your ten cent crazy book.

Do you need something to do? How about a paint by number picture? When's the last time you did a paint by number picture?

Paint by number has come a long way. They still have the little pictures of dogs and cats that are meant for children, but now there are huge wonderful paint by number pictures, that when finished would look great on any living room wall. There are also huge paint by number roosters for the kitchen or whatever it is your looking for. if you can't find a paint by number that you just love at the store, there are many web sites that sell paint by number pictures and you're sure to find something you like. It’s a nice project and all your friends will admire the picture when you say that you painted it. (you don’t have to tell them it was a paint by number and they will never know.
