Here's some things to do in - and know about the month of November that you can add to your ten cent crazy book

When you change your clocks, be sure to change the batteries in your smoke detectors

Be sure to put an ice scraper in your car this month

Of course be sure to celebrate Thanksgiving with family and friends - and for those in need - be sure to take some food to the local food bank this month

Write out a menu for Thanksgiving and buy supplies early

Write out your holiday shopping list - so that when black Friday gets here, you will be ready to shop

Update your Christmas card mailing list

Plan things with family - go ice skating, or to an afternoon movie - start a fire in the fireplace and roast marshmallows
